This paper is the last one of the term, and therefore the best example of the work that I’ve done through the term. This essay is on the identification of literacy narratives. One of the reference works that we had had different forms of identification of literacy narratives, so they can be easily categorized and sorted for others who decide to look at trends in literacy narratives. The stance that I took on my essay is that that reference work didn’t have enough categories for literacy narratives. The author did account for narratives that didn’t fit by creating an “other” category, but there is a trend within that category that should be recognized, so I created one to focus my essay on.
